At 21 square miles, Tortola is the largest of the British Virgin Islands, yet has a distinct small-island feel. The island geography is mountainous and green, the perimeter dotted with small bays and secluded beaches, and the anchorages blessed with some of the most prolific yachting in the Caribbean.
Surfers can enjoy a surf season from November to March, catching waves at Apple Bay, while snorkelers head to Smuggler's Cove. Road Town is the most bustling part of the island, but more like a small town where everybody knows your name.
You'll find casual beachside restaurants and local touches like steel bands, as well as a few high-end dining establishments. 60 miles east of Puerto Rico, it's only a puddle jump away.

Our private Tortola villa rentals are situated on magnificent beachfronts and green hillsides, providing a true escape from the bustling souvenir shops and glittery nightlife associated with many of the Caribbean islands. Like our other Virgin Island destinations, villas here offer some of the most unrestricted views, and sit on a large property of land. You'll find villas directly on the sand, while others sit high in the hills and offer cooling breezes.
Stylistically, the collection spans from Mediterranean inspired, to Mexican tiled, to East Asian influenced.
